Types of Recycling:

Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) - Used AC pavement that has been processed

 

Recylced Asphalt Concreate (RAC) - Product of mixing RAP with new aggregates, asphalt and/or recycling agent

 

Asphalt recycling benefits the environment by reducing our consumption of scarce natural resources (aggregate and asphalt) and simultaneously keeps 75 millions tons of materal out of US landfills.

 

It also reduces the consumption of resources such as fuel, machinery, transportation and labor.
